A disclosure-first virtual staging checklist

A review sequence for originals, staged versions, labels, and destination requirements.

SiteSeam Editorial · 6 min read · Updated September 4, 2026

Start with the destination

Decide whether the output is for an MLS or property page, a client handoff, or branded social media. That choice affects orientation, crop, disclosures, contact details, and music.

Keep the source and the decisions together

Preserve originals, select the intended derivative explicitly, and store the exact settings used for each render. A clear version history makes review and correction easier.

  • Confirm that every property fact is accurate.
  • Inspect geometry, reflections, text, and transitions at full size.
  • Apply the disclosure required by the destination.
  • Verify media, music, likeness, and voice rights before publishing.

Review before you publish

AI can accelerate production, but it does not replace professional judgment. Preview the final file, check captions and contact details, and keep a clean source version available.
